Hereinafter referred to as « KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA ».

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to all services offered by KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA to individual or business clients (consumers), in particular:
- Individual or group Yoga, Shiatsu and Do-In sessions.
- The organisation and facilitation of workshops, courses and wellbeing retreats (« retreats »).
- The sale of gift vouchers for these services.
Any booking implies full and unreserved acceptance of these GTCS.
Article 3 – Intellectual property
Trademarks, logos, signs and all content on the website (text, images, sound, etc.) are protected under the French Intellectual Property Code and, in particular, copyright law.
The information on the website KenZen Shiatsu & Yoga is made available solely for the User’s consultation, unless prior express agreement has been given. The User undertakes to use the site content strictly for private purposes; any use for commercial or advertising purposes is strictly prohibited.
Any full or partial reproduction of this site by any means whatsoever without the express permission of KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA would constitute infringement within the meaning of Article L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
In accordance with Article L.122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code, it is recalled that any User who reproduces, copies or publishes protected content must cite the author and the source.
Article 4 – Nature of the services and prior declarations
4.1. The services offered fall exclusively within the field of wellbeing, relaxation and healthy lifestyle. They have no medical or therapeutic purpose and may in no way replace medical or allied health care.
4.2. The Client declares that they are aware of this nature and undertakes to provide KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA with any useful information concerning their state of health, any contraindications or any factor that could affect their participation.
4.3. KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service if the Client’s condition does not appear compatible with its practice or ethics.Article 6 – Liability
The sources of the information published on the website of KenZen Shiatsu & Yoga are deemed reliable, but the site does not guarantee that it is free from defects, errors or omissions. The information provided is for general guidance only and is not contractually binding. Although the site is updated regularly, it cannot be held liable for changes to administrative or legal rules occurring after publication. Likewise, the site cannot be held liable for the use or interpretation of the information contained on this site.
The website KenZen Shiatsu & Yoga cannot be held liable for any viruses that may infect the User’s computer or any IT equipment following use of, access to or downloads from this site. The site’s liability cannot be engaged in the event of force majeure or unforeseeable and insurmountable circumstances attributable to a third party.
Article 7 – Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks may be present on the site. The User is informed that by clicking these links they will leave the website. The latter has no control over the web pages to which these links lead and cannot under any circumstances be held liable for their content.
Article 8 – Duration of the agreement
This agreement is valid for an indefinite period. Use of the website services marks the application of the agreement with respect to the User.
Article 9 – Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
French law applies to this agreement. In the absence of an amicable settlement of a dispute between the parties, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction. For any question relating to the application of these GTCS, you may contact the publisher at the details given in ARTICLE 1. In accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, a consumer mediation procedure is available. The mediation body appointed is: CNPM Médiation de la consommation. In the event of a dispute, you may submit your claim on its website: https://cnpm-mediationconsommmation.eu or by post to CNPM-MEDIATION-CONSOMMATION, 23 rue Terrenoire, 42100 Saint-Étienne, France.
In the absence of an amicable settlement with the mediator, any dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, including interim proceedings and notwithstanding multiple defendants or third-party proceedings, shall fall within the jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Bourg-en-Bresse (01).
Article 10 – Orders and bookings
Bookings may be made by telephone, email, on the KenZen Shiatsu & Yoga website or via an online booking tool. For retreats, a firm booking requires return of the registration form duly completed and signed, together with payment of the deposit referred to in Article 5.
Article 11 – Prices and payment terms
11.1. Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes (VAT included), and are those in force on the date of booking. They are set out in the offer or estimate sent to the Client.
11.2. For individual sessions, private classes, courses, workshops or gift vouchers, payment of the full fee is required.
For retreats, payment is generally made as follows:
* A deposit of 40% of the total price is payable at booking to confirm registration.
* The balance is payable no later than 20 days before the start of the retreat.
11.3. Accepted payment methods are bank transfers and payments via the secure Stripe platform. Cash and cheque payments are no longer accepted as of 1 January 2026.Article 12 – Cancellation, postponement and lateness
12.1. Cancellation by the Client:
* For individual sessions, private classes, courses and workshops: Any cancellation must be notified at least 48 hours in advance. After that time, the session remains payable and cannot be rescheduled without a new payment. If booked with a gift voucher, the voucher will be voided.* For workshops and courses: Registration and payment terms vary depending on KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA’s partnerships. They must be booked and paid for in advance in accordance with the terms described on this site. Any cancellation must be made within 48 hours before the start of the workshop/course.
* For retreats:
* Cancellation more than 30 days before the start: €20 administrative fee deducted from the deposit.
* Cancellation between 29 and 21 days before the start: the deposit is retained.
* Cancellation less than 20 days before the start: the full price of the retreat is payable, except in duly evidenced cases of force majeure.
12.2. Cancellation and postponement by KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA: In the event of cancellation other than for force majeure, the Client will be offered a new date or will receive a refund of sums paid, excluding administrative fees for retreats.
12.3. Lateness: Any lateness on the part of the Client is deducted from the time allocated for the service. Excessive lateness (>15 minutes) may result in cancellation of the session without refund.Article 13 – Liability and insurance
13.1. KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA is bound by an obligation of means. Its liability cannot be engaged for damage resulting from incorrect information provided by the Client, failure to follow its recommendations or cases of force majeure.
13.2. KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA declares that it holds professional liability insurance appropriate to its activities.
13.3 For retreats organised by KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA, no insurance or repatriation assistance is included.
The Client is invited to check the terms of their own insurance cover or to take out a policy covering certain cancellation scenarios, or an assistance contract covering certain risks such as repatriation costs in the event of accident or illness. The same applies to any supplementary cover for lost baggage or flight delays, etc.
Some activities offered, even at beginner level, may require supplementary insurance (surfing, diving, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, trekking, golf, tennis, skiing, paragliding, desert excursions, etc.). KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA undertakes to flag this in the retreat details so that the Client can take the necessary steps with their insurer.
Alternatively, Europ Assistance travel cover provides worldwide cover.Please note: any policy must be taken out within 48 hours of purchase; otherwise it may not be valid.
Article 14 – Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. They are issued in a named form and are non-refundable, except with the express agreement of the service provider.
Article 15 – Personal data
The data collected are processed for the management of bookings and the client relationship. In accordance with the GDPR, the Client has the right to access, rectify and erase their data by contacting the service provider.
Article 16 – Disputes and applicable law
These GTCS are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing that, the competent courts shall be those with jurisdiction over the service provider’s registered office / place of business.
Article 17 – Communication & image rights
17.1 – Communication and exchanges between participants
For the organisation and smooth running of retreats, the organiser may create a discussion group (in particular via WhatsApp) for registered participants.
The sole purpose of this group is to facilitate practical exchanges before, during and after the retreat (logistics, timings, sharing photos, etc.). Registering for a retreat constitutes acceptance of being added to this group.
Participants undertake to behave respectfully and kindly towards other members. Any inappropriate message or conduct (advertising, insulting or defamatory remarks, discriminatory content or content contrary to the law) will result in immediate removal from the group, without refund or compensation.The organiser cannot be held liable for private exchanges or posts made by participants in this group.
By joining the retreat WhatsApp group and sharing content there (photos, videos, messages), the participant authorises KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA to use such material for communication and promotional purposes, unless they object in writing to contact@kenzenshiatsu.fr
WhatsApp groups created for the retreat and their use remain the property of KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA, which reserves the right to manage, monitor, amend or delete them at any time. Use for personal purposes independent of KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA is not permitted.17.2 – Photo and video capture
During its retreats, KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA may take photographs and/or video recordings, in an artistic and respectful manner, to illustrate the atmosphere of the experiences offered and for communication through various channels: website, social media, newsletters, professional or commercial documentation, and more generally any medium relating to communication and brand visibility.
Such content may also be used within partnerships or collaborations with third-party media (press articles, reports, interviews), always in an editorial, inspiring context linked to the wellbeing universe.
By confirming your registration for one of our retreats, you accept that your image may appear on these media. This capture does not give rise to any payment and does not constitute commercial use within the meaning of exploiting your image for advertising purposes for the benefit of third parties.
In accordance with applicable personal data protection regulations (GDPR), KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA undertakes to:
- Not associate your image with defamatory or demeaning content;
- Not sell or transfer your data for commercial purposes;
- Limit use to media and purposes consistent with its editorial and community mission.
If you do not wish to appear on these media, even indirectly (blurred, back view, etc.), you must notify us no later than 3 days before the start of the retreat by email to contact@kenzenshiatsu.fr
In the absence of explicit objection within this period, KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA will consider that you have consented to the use of your image under the conditions set out above.
Article 18 – General provisions
KENZEN SHIATSU & YOGA reserves the right to amend these GTCS. The terms applicable are those in force on the date of booking. If any clause of the GTCS is held invalid, the validity of the remaining clauses shall not be affected.
