AN OPTION NOT TO BE MISSED | Why does a Shiatsu session help you let go?
Definition
Shiatsu, literally meaning ‘thumb pressure’, is an acupressure technique originating in Japan. Shiatsu is much more than a simple massage. This art is practised on the floor, through loose clothing, by applying pressure to specific acupuncture points along the energy meridians.
Benefits
It is a treatment for both body and mind, which activates and regulates the body’s natural metabolic functions and relieves stress . Breathing exercises and stretching complete the session to release muscle and joint tension, and stimulate the digestive, circulatory, hormonal and lymphatic systems...
IMPORTANT : this list is not exhaustive! All the benefits of Shiatsu will be explained to you at the start of your stay. You can find further information on the Shiatsu page of the website.Immediate deep relaxation and a restored natural balance.
60 minutes = €70.
Must be booked in advance. Limited places. -

INTERMITTENT FASTING:
A GENTLE INTRODUCTIONOver these 8 days, we offer you an introduction to intermittent fasting in ideal conditions: a peaceful setting, caring support and healthy food.
What is intermittent fasting?
It is not about deprivation, but a simple dietary rebalancing: you alternate between a period of eating (lunch and dinner) and a period of rest for your digestive system (around 14 to 16 hours). In practical terms, you skip breakfast and have a hearty brunch at 10.30 am, followed by a balanced dinner at 6.30 pm.
Why practise this on a retreat?
- Improved digestion: less fatigue after meals, more energy for activities.
- Mental clarity: many participants report improved concentration and a feeling of lightness.
- Metabolism support: intermittent fasting can help regulate blood sugar levels and promote natural detoxification.
- Self-awareness: you learn to listen to your body’s signals, without frustration.
How does the introductory session work?
- Brunch at 10.30 am: a full, hearty meal to last the whole day, sweet, savoury, hot and cold
- Dinner at 6.30 pm: a nourishing but not overly heavy meal, to optimise sleep quality
No obligations: you are free to follow the schedule or have breakfast if you wish. Our approach is flexible and non-dogmatic.

handy tips
Heading off at the end of August means you’re guaranteed summer weather. To make the most of your yoga retreat in Cros without overpacking, here are our tried-and-tested practical tips.
Wardrobe: keep it light
- Seasonal clothing to suit you and at least two or three comfortable outfits for your ‘relaxation’ stay. Do pack a warm jumper for the evenings.
- Your toiletries to enjoy the swimming pool.
- Practical footwear. Opt for an open-toed style that’s easy to slip on and off. You’ll need to take your shoes off to enter the Dojo, our practice room.
- Although there are sun loungers and hammocks on the estate, bring a mat or a bath towel for those who fancy a nap in the great outdoors.
- A torch for the evenings
- Rainwear or a small umbrella, just in case
Outdoor activities
- For hikes, a suitable pair of shoes is recommended; otherwise, trainers are fine for ‘family-friendly’ walks.
- Le Mas is 30 minutes from the Hérault. Kayaking or paddleboarding can be arranged, at an extra cost and upon request. Trainers are required.
